The tall towers of a very spooky, yet oddly rainbow-striped, stately country house reach into the foggy sky on a moonlit night.

Mistigram: this #teletext scene of a spooky mansion was drawn by [profile] blippypixel and included in the, again, spooky MIST1019 artpack collection released six years ago this month.

Sinister smiling spheres on pedestals, like elevated jack o lanterns, flank an entry path to a stately, pointy-roofed country manor lit up in rainbow colours at night beneath the stars, moon, and a couple of distant bats.

Mistigram: this moody #teletext illustration, titled "Creepy Chateau" -- just the kind of place you'd hate to have your car break down in front of on a stormy night! -- was drawn by [profile] blippypixel and included in the spooky MIST1019 artpack collection released five years ago this month.

A comically long strip of paper is extracted from a Chinese fortune cookie, spelling out the menacing fortune I know what you did last summer

Mistigram: taking up employment at a #FortuneCookie factory in order to sadistically torment the teenagers who left you for dead is really playing the long game. [profile] xtcomics visited this unlikely #IKnowWhatYouDidLastSummer premise as a gag in one of his #ASCIIart comic strips, and we included it in the spooky MIST1019 artpack collection released five years ago this month.

A red-haired man s head opens up along the centre with eyes on the top half and mouth on the bottom, like a melty Cadbury creme egg, revealing a glowing yellow centre and the emergence of green plant-like tendrils or tentacles of stems and roots through the new openings.

Mistodon: usually the art in Mistigris collections originates in the digital realm, but not always! In the spooky MIST1019 artpack released five years ago this month we shared the eldrich artwork Lovecraft expert Toren "MacBin" Atkinson originally created as album artwork for the 2007 release "The Shadow Out Of Tim" from his band The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets.

Mistigram: Is this a transformed Guild navigator, plotting a course for the folding of space? Perhaps it's a hacker jacked permanently into the Grid? Or maybe it's just an assemblage of dead organs sewed together and made to dance with sparks. Either way, this #PLAYSCII animation was made by [profile] axltm and included in the MIST1019 artpack collection released five years ago this month.
