Mistigram: from last year's MIST-30 artpack collection, celebrating 30 years since the establishment of our (now vintage) computer art community, here's a lovely #ASCIIart logo by our guest darokin ironically celebrating #ANSIart. (Hey, we like to mix it up, too!)

Mistigram: Listen to them, the children of the night. What music they make! This #blockASCII / #ANSIart portrait of #BelaLugosi in Universal's 1931 film adaptation of #Dracula was drawn by axb and included in last month's spooky MIST1025 artpack collection.

Mistigram: this #ASCIIart illustration of a #jiangshi or 'hopping vampire' of Chinese folklore (and beloved of Hong Kong cinema) was a guest appearance by Amy of the Pizzatoe computer art crew. It was included in last year's spooky MIST1024 artpack collection, resplendent in its Qing dynasty traditional garb. There's a rumour about that pizzatoe may soon be dropping their first artpack, so we're hoping to schedule these posts to roughly coincide with their debut.

Mistigram: I've already invoked the aphorism about what curiosity did to the cat... this #ASCIIart kitty, drawn by Mozz, isn't dead yet, but when it gets to the end of its rope it may have to tie a knot and hold on. This was included in last month's #cat-themed MIST0725 artpack collection.

Mistigram: some housecats are mighty and fearsome hunters, bane of rodents, birds and bugs... others specialise in sneaking up and neutralising sunbeams with advanced relaxation techniques. This #ASCIIart #cat, drawn by Mozz, has just about got the situation under control. This piece was included in the new cat-themed MIST0725 artpack collection.

Mistigram: this dystopian piece of postcard fiction (describing what is to be done when the novelty of playing with the AI RealDoll wears thin -- unless it is an allegory of course!) and its attached #ASCIIart illustration of a crucible are the handiwork of ldb. They were included in the new science fiction-themed MIST0525 artpack collection.

Mistigram: in all the beverage discourse this week, we have overlooked one of the all-time classics. littlebitspace represents here again with this bird's eye #asciiart representation of a Japanese #tea ceremony service. This piece, titled "Tea Is Eternal", was included in the recent food-themed IMBIBE01 electronic magazine.
