An angry undead character with colourful rotting flesh, clad in ancient traditional Chinese garb, grimaces menacingly at the viewer.

Mistigram: this #ASCIIart illustration of a #jiangshi or 'hopping vampire' of Chinese folklore (and beloved of Hong Kong cinema) was a guest appearance by Amy of the Pizzatoe computer art crew. It was included in last year's spooky MIST1024 artpack collection, resplendent in its Qing dynasty traditional garb. There's a rumour about that [profile] pizzatoe may soon be dropping their first artpack, so we're hoping to schedule these posts to roughly coincide with their debut.

The standard blurb really hit all the notes here: the full moon, orange; the bats, fluttering; the jack o lanterns, grinning; the spooky white-faced mask, hatless; the yard, grave. Boo!

Mistigram: our guest Amy of #Pizzatoe keeps things Halloweeny with this spooky outsider #ASCIIart tableau featuring a couple of Jack o' Lanterns grinning in a blasted graveyard while bats flitter across the swollen orange harvest moon and Ghostface gets his witch's hat blown off by a stiff breeze. This piece was included in the spooky new MIST1024 artpack collection.
