One small step for sea life, one giant leap for batrachian-kind.

Mistigram: this #PETSCII screen, drawn by Bema, depicts a hideous Lovecraftian creature -- the piece is called The Deep Ones -- slithering out of the ocean like an angry jar of thawed frozen chopped spinach. It was included in the spooky MIST1021 artpack collection released four years ago this month.

A lot of green-glowing drippy pseudopods and tentacles and things drape their way down a stepped pyramid under a night sky in which the stars are right -- the kind of scene Lovecraft would describe as full of inhuman angles and unspeakable blasphemies, so who am I to try to describe it?

Mistigram: [profile] bnjmnbrgmn (aka Bema) drew this, "In his house at R'lyeh" (dead #Cthulhu waits dreaming) as part of an eldritch suite of #Lovecraftian #textmode screens fashioned from #PETSCII characters. This gloriously goopy green Cyclopean scene was included in the spooky MIST1021 artpack collection released three years ago this month.
