On a fantasy monochrome desktop are shown icons for several apps (Lovebox, Internet Obscura, Hypercube) as well as programs running in windows (Smoking Geisha, Webby V1.01)

Mistigram: the incredible [profile] polyducks also found inspiration in #SusanKare's interface design and #geisha sample art for the #AppleMacintosh and its #MacPaint application, taking them in a new direction in this fantasy OS desktop design. This piece was included in the new MIST1121 artpack collection.

In the style of the Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock print genre, inset within the interface of a pixel illustration program, a smiling woman is depicted in a patterned robe combing her long black hair.

Mistigram: this is a #teletext adaptation (by [profile] atonalosprey) of #SusanKare's #1bit #geisha illustration accompanying the initial release of Bill Atkinson's #MacPaint for the #AppleMacintosh 39 years ago in 1984. It was included in the new MIST1121 artpack collection.
