In the darkness of night, beneath a starry sky and a full moon, a symmetrical two-storied house reflects the light on its distinctive wood panelling and brick chimney bisecting the upper floor. In the top right window, two red pixels reflect back at the viewer.

Mistigram: this almost-monochrome #pixelart (pixboard?) illustration of the house at 112 Ocean Avenue in #Amityville, Long Island, where a mass murder took place in 1974, was drawn by

adelfaure. Accounts of the events leading up to and following the killings were sensationalised under the name #TheAmityvilleHorror. This piece was included in the spooky MIST1022 artpack collection released two years ago.

Various displays and readouts attached to a computer indicate the status of numerous furbots and virtual pets, whose physiology and care instructions are described on notes and blackboards in the laboratory.

A large and diverse group of overheated people take to the blue ocean water in various styles and colours of swimsuit to cool off. Across the harbour is visible smokestacks and cooling towers belching pollution into the cyan sky, with the sun setting behind their silhouettes.
