Marking an otherwise empty, lifeless landscape of rocks and small hills, a giant transparent dome contains a couple dozen high-rise buildings and a large area that has fallen into ruin and rubble.

Mistigram: a vignette of a do(o)med arcology, "Everything's Fine In Here" is a specimen of #TypewriterArt from the desk of [profile] lordnkon that raises a lot of questions seemingly answered by its title. (What's up with the dome? What's with the apparently smoldering rubble comprising roughly two thirds of your dome's contents? Blink twice if you need help!) This piece was included in last month's science fiction-themed MIST0524 artpack collection.

This is one of those images where you really don't know if it's truly fine (everyone is inside the dome or this is the beginning to saving civilization after a horrible disaster) or not (either that dome is a horrifying prison, the earth will never be salvagable again, or possibly what if that's the only last livable area on earth and there are still people outside suffering?). I got the feels looking at this piece of art, I won't lie. (╥_╥) (I might also be interpreting it wrong)
