A cool, soft piece of bread with a sleepy face disappears down the slot of a toaster, where it emits smoke and is rapidly heated before popping back up with a newly alert expression on its crunchy, glutenous little face.

Mistigram: [profile] joninscii's animated #ASCIIart illustration of a piece of #bread getting browned in a #toaster was probably originally meant as commentary on people getting tanned in the summer, but it also fit the food theme of our recent IMBIBE01 electronic magazine to a T!
