On a plain wooden table, beneath a season s greetings banner of crossed candy canes and next to a glass of milk and a lit red candle nestled in decorative evergreen foliage, sits a plate bearing a jolly gingerbread man. By the time Santa arrives, weeks from now, the cookie will be stale and the milk will be curdled (supposing the candle doesn t burn it all down!), but it s a nice mental picture.

Mistigram: we've just dropped an executable MS-DOS #ANSIart #AdventCalendar for December's lead-up to Christmas, for the 2nd year running. This cozy seasonal screen, drawn by codefenix of Constructive Chaos BBS (conchaos.synchro.net), was the first illustration in last year's.
